“I’m a triathlete and a student at a university. And a couple of years ago as I was getting ready for my triathlon season at the end of May, right into the main part of my training and about a week and a half before my first race I was coming home on my bicycle and as I passed through a main intersection with a green light, a lady coming from the opposite direction in a car turned left right in front of me. I ended up hitting the front right part of her car. Luckily I was wearing a helmet, however, it was broken. My bike was crushed and broken in quite a few different pieces. I noticed that there were some problems and complications with my knee. I realized that it was a little more complicated than I was expecting.”
