When Gloria slowed to stop at a red light on Orchard Drive in Bountiful, another car crashed into her rear bumper. As a result of the collision, Gloria suffered a number of injuries to her back, neck, and shoulders including several herniated and compressed disks, as well as a torn and sprained shoulder. Subsequently, Gloria’s medical bills began piling up, so much, that her personal injury protection coverage was quickly exhausted. She was experiencing crippling pain at times in her neck and back, as well as a loss of mobility that kept her from performing day-to-day activities.
