The Best of a Bad Experience

A rollover accident is a terrifying experience, there are loud sounds, strong gasoline smells, and your body bounces around as the car rolls out of control. In unexpected situations the driver can lose control of their vehicle, putting passengers at risk for serious injuries.

This driver is most likely someone you or a loved one was friends with, but that doesn’t change the cost of medical bills and the pain and suffering experienced. I-80 is a high speed freeway that many Utah commuters use everyday to and from locations. It is easy to get distracted while making the same old commute, or while navigating an unfamiliar area.

A rollover accident can occur for many different reasons. More tall and narrow vehicles like SUV’s, trucks, vans, and vehicles with high lifts are predicted to flip more than other cards because of their higher center of gravity. Such horrific accidents can be prevented, but it takes first and foremost, paying attention to the road. Unfortunately we received a case where the passenger of a vehicle experienced a rollover accident and had a long road to recovery ahead of him.

Uel’s Accident

While traveling through Nevada, Uel was riding as a passenger when his friend suddenly lost control of the car, causing it to crash and rollover. After the accident, Uel was rushed in an ambulance to the emergency room, his head bleeding profusely and his body covered with bruises. Immediately after the accident, Uel suffered short term memory loss, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and headaches as a result of his head injury. But the full extent of Uel’s injuries wouldn’t be realized until months later.

As time wore on, Uel also began to develop neck, chest, and leg pain. His road to recovery was a long and difficult one, forcing him to miss work. Eventually, the stress of trying to manage his recovery, medical bills, and accident claim became too much for Uel, so he decided to let us step in on his behalf.

We were grateful for the opportunity to work one-on-one with Uel and to help him in his road to recovery. We did everything in our power to make this process as stress-free as possible, including meeting with Uel wherever was most convenient for him.
