Robert’s Story
I couldn’t really drive [after my accident] so I appreciated Ken coming down to me. He explained it, he was efficient, he made some recommendations, and everything has just worked for me. Everything has just fallen into place.
Robert was driving down his home street in Orem, Utah when he came to an intersection. The light was green so he proceeded through just as an SUV ran the red light crossing his path and t-boned him. Following the accident, Robert was in tremendous pain and found it difficult to do the things he had normally done. It affected his everyday life by limiting his ability to drive, do his normal activities and be comfortable. After the accident he found out that he had suffered bruising to the left side of his body, as well as bruised kidneys which caused other painful complications. The driver that hit Robert did not have adequate insurance to cover the damages and medical bills, so we were able to pursue Robert’s own Underinsured Motorist (UIM) coverage. In the end, Robert was extremely pleased to have his case settled with the insurance companies for $50,000 which aided in paying for his medical bills and helped get him back into his normal routine.
In Robert’s Words
“In my accident I was on my home street, and I was approaching an intersection and I had a green arrow. As I entered the intersection, another gentleman decide to run the red light in a Blazer SUV and T-bone my car. I ended up in the hospital that night, spent the night, got out the next day, and consequently I’ve had two surgeries since that time.” “I’ve always watched the news and seen the advertisements and I’ve seen the Christensen Law ad for the [7 Mistakes] book and so I ordered it. I started first talking with the insurance company, and then they asked me some very stupid questions that I thought were very unfair and that just clicked inside my head and I said ‘Hey, you need some legal help here.’ I had the book so I made the call. When I first set up the appointment, it was done down in my hometown; I didn’t have to come to Draper, I didn’t have to drive. I couldn’t really drive at that time so I appreciated Ken coming down to me. He explained it, he was efficient, he made some recommendations, and everything has just worked for me. Everything has just fallen into place.”
