Lehi Motorcyle Accident Lawyer

On Wednesday, July, 5th a motorcyclist was killed trying to avoid a collision in Lehi, Utah.

According to police, an SUV triggered the accident by failing to stop at a stop sign while making a left-hand turn. The SUV did not have the right of way.

The vehicle in front of the motorcycle was heading northbound and tried to evade the SUV. The motorcyclist did the same, causing him to be thrown off his bike and killed. Unfortunately he was not wearing a helmet, although it is not required by Utah state law.

This is a very unfortunate accident and can be tricky when it comes to who is responsible for the loss of another human life. When we come face to face with a crash you don’t have much time to act, thus you react instinctively. You may have a thoughts quickly racing through your mind, “do I crash into this car, slam on my brakes, swerve out of the way?”  It seems as if the best decision upon a collision is to evade the accident. However, there is a chance you or another person are at a higher risk of injury.

The attorneys at Christensen & Hymas have handled tricky cases, such as the one that occurred Wednesday. So that the person who was injured or killed and not at fault, receives the compensation they deserve.  If you or a loved one has been injured in an accident that was not your fault, contact us today for a free consultation.
