Salt Lake Express Accidents
In November, 2021, a Salt Lake Express bus wreck shut down an Interstate 15 exit for more than 2 hours. The bus hit a Dodge Ram flatbed truck causing serious injuries. The bus had 25 people on board. The Salt Lake Express bus driver failed to yield the right-of-way when he made a left-hand turn.
In another accident, a Salt Lake Express shuttle that had just left the Salt Lake Airport and was traveling northbound on the I-215 collector to go westbound on I-80 was driving too fast for the weather conditions and took the turn at a high rate of speed. The shuttle bus lost control and rolled off the road and down an embankment – causing serious injuries for the passengers inside.
On November 12, 2012, three people including an Idaho women, were seriously injured in a crash with a Salt Lake Express van on I-15 near Pocatello, Idaho. The Idaho women injured her back, including two compressed fractures. The Salt Lake Express driver lost control on icy roads, went over the median and crashed into the right shoulder of the road.
